differences between the puritans and the rationalist

the differences between the puritans and the the rationalist were that the rationalist believed more of human nature but the puritans didint. so they felt that natural laws was the explantion for everything on earth. being able to to understand natural laws was a way to improve ones life from the rationalst point of view. but, the puritans on the other hand thought totally different. the puritans thought that humans were capable of demonstrating gods work. they also believed that because of adam and eve, everyone was born a sinner and that god only saved a certain few. but the rationalist felt that everyone was created equal. but, now in todays society there are example of how people share different beliefs such as abortions. some people believen abortions and others dont. so that would be a modern age example of different beliefs.
