The Black Cat

"The Black Cat', is the name of the story that i decided to read. The reason why i chose this story is because i believd it would be more interesting. and fortunately, i was right. This story is kinda based on supersticion, but it also shows examples of the dark romantics. the story is telling how this guy grew up as a ntaural born pet lover. he's always liked pets while growing up. as he had gotten older and had gotten married, he also enjoyed the presence of animals. while married he discovered into a black cat as his pet. he originally liked the cat, but eventually started to dislike it because of his supersticion thoughts. during the story there was a particular peice of the writng that showed an example of the way the dark romantics think. this guy in the story stated that, his original soul took flight from his body
, which lead him to reaction of him hurting his pet cat. This tells me that this guy may not have had any intentions on hurting the cat, but a scence of evil took over him. for which he could not control. so, this would be an example of the dark romantics, because of the original sin he commited. and of course no one is perfect, and god knows that. and that is why he will forgive one for a sin that thou have commited. which is exactly the same outlook that the dark romantics had on life. but, the Transcendents on the other hand, thought that no child of god would commit sin. So this particular piece of literature proves otherwise. So therefore it proves the beliefs of the dark romantics.
