The romanticism and trendisicm

Romantisicm is the school of thought that emphasizes intuition over logic, and feeling over reason. and the story rip van winkle, is an example of that because it is a story based on logic and reason. The reason why i say that, is because rip van winkle was a guy who believed in helping others as a main priority in life. He was also a simple good natured man, which gained his popularity through his meekness of spirit. This is a prime example of the morals of romanticism. Rip was a helping hand to others such as his neighbors, and also to hisself. Those actions show examples of how a romantic would think, and go about life.



Such as the poems, these poems show lots of examples of romanticism. the reason why i say this is because this peom focus' more on death. but, its moral of this beleif, is to to be happy about death. not to be scared but to be prepared.it also states that death should acutally be a celebration. these would be the thoughts of a romantic thinker.this would be so, because roamtic thinkers believen in intution over logic. which is also what the moral of the poem is.
